Korie Austin joined us for Reset 2017 from nearby Fishers, Indiana, where she specializes in lifestyle newborn, maternity and family sessions. She left us some great feedback following the conference and we wanted to share some of her words with you today.
From Korie:
I cried in my car in the parking garage after it was over. My story is something I am proud of but don’t share as much as I need to. But yesterday took a leap of faith and in about a month it will be put into a video for my “people” to see why me when they hire me.
I need them to connect me with before they hire with me and I don’t think I realized that until I took Megan Kuethen class on the power of a story and hearing Flavi Huff talk and some of the others.
We each have a story and it’s so important. I want my “people” to allow me to share that story. When Bre Thurston spoke her story stuck with me; and also when Elena Sanchez Blair spoke. Their stories spoke to different parts of my heart so I want my people to see this video of “why me” and connect with me and then choose me. They have to see me before picking me.
So keep me in your prayers as I take this leap of faith. I have been shaking since Sunday going over it in my head but I know it’s what I am lead to do and it will be a powerful thing for families to see. ????
