Located on the Tennesee-Georgia border, Chattanooga is accessed by interstates I-75, I-24, & I-59. The airport is about 10 miles from downtown and has many 1-stop destinations or connecting flights. The downtown of Chattanooga is very walkable, but there is also a free electric shuttle that services all of downtown. The city has one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the country, plus a 23-mile riverwalk. There is also a popular bike-sharing system if you prefer to cycle.
Situated on the Tennessee River, Chattanooga boasts such attractions as Ruby Falls, Rock City Gardens, Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga Zoo, Creative Discovery Museum, the Tennesee Aquarium, plus lots more! Guided tours include river tours, duck tours, walking tours, and even ghost tours! Or enjoy a wine or whiskey tasting at the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery, Georgia Winery, Gate 11 Distillery, or Lookout Winery.
