WOW!!!!!! Raise your hand if you think this was the best Reset Conference yet!! πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

We had a GREAT week in Texas in September and want to sincerely thank all our speakers, vendors, staff, and attendees. Without all of you, none of this would have been possible. But let’s get to it, shall we??

Sunday started out with conference setup, vendor arrivals, and a few hours of registration for attendees. It was AWESOME seeing all of your lovely faces again. We were definitely there for the hugs (and selfies!)!!

Monday morning we wrapped up registration and headed into our first keynote presentation by Katelyn James. Katelyn talked about weathering the storms and how those storms can make us stronger. There were not many dry eyes in the house!

Monday afternoon we heard from brand photographer Abby Grace. She said that your brand is the perception your audience has of the unique character or personality of your business. She also told us that “the brands you love didn’t simply get lucky,” — they worked for their success! She left us with so many great nuggets about our brands and our businesses, including the reminder that you do not need to be your own ideal client. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Following Monday morning and afternoon breakout sessions, we headed into Tuesday morning worship, followed by the final keynote by James & Jess. James & Jess thrilled everyone with their love story, where we learned how reality TV brought them together, through James’ unrelenting pursuit of Jess.

Tuesday night brought the “Boots & Bling” gala at the gorgeous Old Bethany wedding venue south of Waco. Ticket holders were treated to craft lemonades, heavy appetizers, a photo booth, lawn games, dinner, line dancing, and Silos cupcakes! Together we boot scooted the night away!

Wednesday was the final day of the conference with add-on shootouts and mentorships available for attendees. Groups of photographers were led all across Waco from the Magnolia Silos to Baylor University to scattered studios and Fixer Uppers to photograph all genres of photography. Attendees had the chance to put into action what they’d learned the previous two days. We love hands-on learning!

Whether you missed out on the 2021 Reset Conference or can’t wait to come back again, we want to see you in March 2022 back in Lexington, Kentucky! We are anxiously awaiting our triumphant return to Lex and the wonderful Campbell House hotel. We promise you will love it there!!
