She owns and operates Sweet Lemonade Photography, and co-owns Sweet Darling Weddings with her good friend & fellow Reset attendee Kristin Darling. Heather brought us a couple photos from a senior session with some deep emotional ties. Read on!
These are the kind of stories I love to tell. Cassidi, a senior I had already photographed in the summer was coming back for a fall session too. We rescheduled it many times in hopes of getting a family pic during that session. You see, her dad was battling cancer again. We kept rescheduling in hopes of catching him on a good day. He was weak and had lost a lot of weight but hopeful we’d find a time when he was better to participate. The longer we delayed her session, the harder I prayed for him. And finally, a couple weeks ago, we had a good day. Not just a good day but a great day cause shortly before that his scans came back and they found out he is cancer free now. 🙂
